Location, cleanliness of rooms, great showers, and quiet at night.

Maybe there could have been an iron in the room.

Easy to find, near the park and museums, quiet part of town, clean and friendly.

Personally speaking, for me, the mattresses were too soft. This is only a minor point of individual preference.

Good location, quiet room.

We were charged with the breakfast that we didn't eat. We kindly request to start breakfast 10 minutes before its actual start. However we were not allowed to do it and the money for breakfast that we paid on check-in was not refunded us. Staff was very insensitive.

Only there for one night, but very pleased with my stay, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The location was very good. Close to shopping, canals, and restaurants. Close to car rental and quite easy to get to Amsterdam rai. The free Wi- fi. Nice and fresh bathroom.

The breakfast was not so impressive (but it was quite cheap). In my room it was almost impossible to open the window but yet there was a bit of a draft. The curtain was hanging in over the bed (not so nice). The lightbutton was just behind the pillow so when moving the light would sometimes go on.

I brought my daughter to Amsterdam for her 18th birthday. She is a budding artist and Van Gogh is her favourite artist. The Van Gogh Museam is two minutes walk from the Hotel, and the Tram is one minutes walk ! Dam Square is a leisurely 5-7 minute trip on the excellent tram service. Our room was spotlessly clean and bright. The Hotel provide a continental breakfast for €5.00, which is great value. I would definitely stay at the Van Gogh hotel again.

My only complaint would be that there was a 'damp' smell coming from our shower We were only staying three days so I didn't report it. I bought a cheap air freshener and that helped. But I would still stay at the Van Gogh Hotel again.

Needed a hotel close to museums - perfect!

we were there only for overnight stay while waiting for a connecting flight, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were so comfortable and they had a nice plasma TV which was easy to use. Loved the nice walk in shower. We had to leave before breakfast was served but the menu was awesome and it was hard to believe all of that food for only 5 euros per person. Loved the location. I would have loved to stay longer.

Brandnew, very efficient, clean, quiet area and still within 100m of the big musea and PC Hooftstreet. Breakfast is sufficient and cost only 5 euro. Good beds and bathroom.

To be near all the major Museums and attracions in the City. Very centric and easy to conect with the public transport system of the city.

We didn't like the unflaxible staff, the hotel was 2 expencive for it's value.

The Van Gogh hotel was a brilliant experience, I will defenately stay here again on my next visit. The 5 euro breakfast is a must have, fantastic value for money, the room was adequate in size, shower spotless, decor cool! Location...cant get,.better 1 min walk from tram stop, around the corner from Rijks and Van Gogh museam, and plenty more. Great value for money

The towels were clean, and changed every day, (stayed for 4 nights) if I had to complain about anything is that they smelt of bleach.... Understandable though!!

Conveniently located, clean, comfortable rooms. A part of the hotel is a youth hostel so it can be confusing if you don't know that beforehand but the whole atmosphere was very friendly and we had a nice stay.

Nice area,the breakfast was good value for money.

Hotel staff not very willing to help and not friendly.One side is hotel other is hostel type acomodation for students.In this hotel a lot of young people and this is the reason why the hotel is very noisy also the location just next to a kindergarden school made noisy during day time.
